Version: TeamViewer 0.96
Pros: I had no trouble connecting to and using my friend's computer. I run on a slack satellite connection and it worked with tolerable lag. Great, solid, and fun program.
Cons: Initially upon download and use of the free version your connections will be limited to 15 minutes per session; upon registering at their site (all that is required is an email address) the session time will double to 30 minutes - usually more than enough to get things done. This limit does not hold true for LAN connections.

Pros: This product does a good job for what it was designed to do. A pretty good UI and attention to detail.

"Very easy connections even behind firewalls"
Pros: I did as they say on their website: Just start the program and two computers, type in the connection ID - and you are connected to any PC on the Internet (This worked also from my company workplace which is behind a very secure firewall).
It's also compatible with VNC.
My favorite tool to assists friends with their computer problems.
