Publisher's description
From Tamava :Better user experience--clear and modern user interface, no useless fancy features. Easy configuration--we tried to simplify the configuration as much as possible, with only the most usefull parameters. Image Thumbnails and SlideShow--very easy to see downloaded images, the thumbnails are updated automatically for each new downloaded image and the slideshow allows to see images one by one. NZB and ZIP file support--you can search binaries files via NZB indexers web sites using the integrated web browser. These nzb files will feed Tamara reader. Wizards and Top newsgroups--Wizards are used to simplify the configuration, and TOP newsgroups helps to choose the best available binary newsgroup.

Version: Tamava Reader 1.0.1c
Pros: A nice and light application. It does everything it should do: connect to the news server, search for news groups and download the file.
Cons: So far, so good.

Version: Tamava Reader 1.0.1c
"It's either great or it sucks, depending on your needs"
Pros: It's free. That's it folks.
Cons: Author claims the interface is simple. Not true. It's devoid of features. There is a difference. No filters. No way to selectively delete. No way to know how many files are selected for download. Thumbnails are worthless -- nothing any decent photo organizer can't do, and a lot more.
This newsreader appears to be designed for users who want to use NZB, and it may work fine for that, but little attention has been given to use by the rest of us. I'll keep using FreeAgent.
