Tag&Rename has full native support for: mp3 (ID3v1, ID3v2.2, ID3v2.3 and ID3v2.4 tags), Windows Media WMA, ASF and WMV files, OGG Vorbis and Flac (vorbis comments), Apple iTunes AAC m4a/mp4/m4p/m4b/m4v files, MusePack mpc (APEv1, APEv2 and ID3v1 tags), most popular lossless codecs including monkey's audio, wav pack, optim frog, flac, tta and wav. Tag&Rename supports many additional tag fields including lyrics, cover art, rating, mood, disc #, classical music fields (Composer, Conductor), file related URLs. With Tag&Rename, you can automatically fix and complete file tags using online freedb database, load titles and cover art, get tags data from file names and its folders structures, rename your music files and folders according to its tag information in a batch. Tag&Rename include full Unicode support.

Pros: If you're serious about tagging this is a must have. At first glance the UI may appear a bit complex but quickly becomes very intuitive. The few extra minutes required to master the interface will be rewarded BIG TIME in terms of efficient work-flow. No task is too much or too large for Tag & Rename. The Gold Standard and well worth every penny!

Pros: Very powerful program - allows tagging and renaming of multiple files in a single step. Also supports many additional tag fields: lyrics, cover art, rating, mood, disc number, classical music fields and do on. I think that is the best in its class after looking at many programs to manage my mp3 collection.

"Excellent Software - Best in class!"
Pros: I have been using this software since version 1.x, and its capabilities are amazing. While the interface does take a bit of getting used to, the program is stable, fast, and very well thought out. My entire MP3 collection of 27,000+ tracks are fully tagged, thanks to Tag&Rename!
The icing on the cake - a developer that cares! I have contacted Softpointer regarding a bug, and not only did I get a reply within a day, but a solution!
Download this and BUY IT, it is the best $30 you will ever spend on software!!!

"Interface is odd but once you learn it this is the best Tag Editor I have used!"
Pros: I have tried a lot of different tag editors, and have always been disappointed with them.. as they always lacked some function that I wanted. Tag&Rename will do anything I ask it too. The interface takes a little getting used to.. especially the file selection part, but once you have it down.. this program will allow you do do almost anything you want with tags and filenames.
