While it may not be doing anything harmful, this program to add tabs to Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer doesn't give you any indication that it's been installed or that it's working. In fact, the simply named Tabbed program didn't appear to do anything at all.
The program is listed in Task Manager, under both Applications and Processes, but it doesn't show up under Programs or Add/Remove Programs, and it's not found in IE's add-ons. There's no dedicated interface, and no Help file was found. We had to use Task Manager's End Task button to exit the program.
The publishers seem to have made one bad decision after another in creating this simplistic (and largely redundant) program. Beyond the inability to access it, they've limited the trial version to one week and they're asking the unrealistic amount of $10 for this nonfunctional software. Even if Tabbed did work as promised, tabbed browsing is hardly revolutionary and you can get it for free in the latest version of most browsers.
Publisher's description
From Tabbed.org :Tabbed is the program that adds tabs to Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer and allows you to browse them side-by-side. Download and run, and Internet Explorer will automatically have tabs. Unclutter your windows. Browse faster.

Version: Tabbed 1
Pros: Easy and that's all!
Cons: Cheap or cheat? Its sounds to be cheap and okey, little fishy. Can't tell, but DO NOT BUY IT! After a week you gotta pay for it. You'll recieve a letter of confirmation by the withdrawal from yours account, from "Paypal". That's all. No equal letter of confirmation from "tabbed.org". The only you've to is logg-in at theirs site, to open an account. That's all! Yours account name and password only take you once more to "Paypal". Very unusually custom.., so bettern beware!

Version: Tabbed 1
Pros: No installation, just launch and it puts tabs on your Explorer and IE6 windows.
Cons: To the guy who wrote two posts claiming this program may be a "cheat"... the program is very easy to register. You just go to the website, make a username and password, and pay. On the site it explains that the reason for the username and password is so that you can register once and use the program on any computer, such as in a library where they may have IE6.
So I give this program 5 stars.
Currently the interface looks kind of bland, wish there were more skins though.

Version: Tabbed 1
Pros: Hanging beneath the browser and fast to use.
Cons: Don't buy this product, its fishy. Something between a cheap or a cheat! To use it after a week you've to pay to use this add-on. Ten bucks don't sounds much, but..! You hafta open an account at theirs site, create one username and one password. You receive one receipt from "PayPal", as usual. But no letter of acknowledge from its creator. No info at all, as the custom is! Take my advice and avoid it. Use the totally free browsers connected to IE, that's much bettern. Maxthon's as one example!
