  "Pretty Good!"

  Pros: Well ~ I was very skeptical when I first download this software. The potential for security issues are extremely high when using a software of this nature. With those concerns, I did some extensive testing on the TVUPlayer. I was shocked as to its performance and the lack of potential security issues. I tested this software with every security tool you can name without any positive results. Amazing, because I really expected to find something.

  I did some major speed testing when I first downloaded this software too. Shockingly, this software, when running, hardly affects your network speeds. My network performance only spiked over 0.5% only twice that I am aware of during the duration of testing.

  I ran 40 individual speed tests while the software was running: I averaged 2149.4 KBPS with a 3 MB package. Then I ran 40 individual tests without the software running: Averaged 2280.8

  Considering all speed test were done during high traffic hours, the 131 KBPS I lost in my network isn't bad.

  Most of the channels work well, and this is

  an actual real-time T.V. broadcast too! I checked all of the American channels against my Direc T.V. service. I really expected the programming to be prerecorded, but it wasn't.

  All in all, the program seems to be spyware and adware free, and safe to install!

  Cons: Some of the channels freeze and don't work well!

  You will not get a high quality feed, but for free T.V. without the ugly antenna on the side of your house - TVUPLayer is worth the download!

  "Excellent TV Tuner for your PC"

  Pros: It has quite a large array of English-speaking (and Chinese) streaming live channels. The interface is full-screen and skinned. It doesn't seem to be a resource hog at all, but I've tested it on 3M DSL connection, with Core2 CPU and 2G RAM. The delay between actual TV broadcast and the streaming version is usually less than 1 minute.

  Cons: Since it was launched few weeks ago, TVU player has dropped several major stations such as CNN and HBO, probably for legal reasons. My fear is that it will continue to do so, eventually leaving nothing but Chinese stations. For this reason, I can't give it more than 4 stars, because of what it seems to be a temporary nature of this tuner. Interestingly, ABC News (which provides a legal free 600kbps streaming) isn't included in the list here.

  "the best online tv player ever made"

  Pros: so simple to use(even a monkey could use it)

  great channels to watch and most are in english

  some chanels need a very high connection speed

  fox works fine for me played for over 2hours and did not freeze or stop once

  with this you can watch great programs like friends,,scrubs and even prison break season 2

  Cons: the link on this site is broken

  "link has been broke for more then a month!"

  Pros: Good program till it vanished!

  Cons: This program is not downloadable from here or the website. have tried several times to download it and it hangs and dies at 276k, if I go to the TVU networks web site it is the same. There were rumors that this was going to happen as they were not going to have any free downloads and start charging for this program, and it looks like they did.

  Pros: Watch live TV broadcasts on your PC. TVU networks uses P2P technology to broadcast TV programs live over the Web.
