"DON'T DO IT!!! IT SUCKS"

NONE - it doesn't even have an uninstall.

My computer ran pretty well...before I downloaded this thing.
I ran the program and rebooted...and it was sooo sloooow.
Checking my CPU and memory usage, I found it was spiking even though the computer was idle.
SPYWARE maybe???
After removing the program and running JV16, Ad Aware and "Spy Bot Search and Destroy" it is running better...but still not like before.
I did find 11 pieces of Spyware, but cannot say for certain it came from the SM7 trial download.

Won't install. Tech support jerked me around for more than 30 days; now iolo won't refund my money. Customer service is rude, tech support is incompetent, and you have two choices with them - send emails, which they will ignore, or call and wait in the queue for at least 30 minutes (usually longer). If you are patient enough to hold, you will be connected to someone clueless who will promise to 'escalate' your issue. That's 'iolospeak' for doing absolutely nothing. By the way there's no toll-free support number, so you will be paying long distance day rates to stay on hold, all the while listening to iolo's mind numbing sales pitches on tape. Do yourselves a favor and ignore the (Cnet) editor's five star rating. There's no way anyone who actually used this product could lavish even a second star on it. By the way, the identical comments apply to Search and Recover 4.

From what I see it works great does everything I need it to do. Doesnt miss up my system in any way.

I cant think of anything bad but why people complaining and blaming the pc. If you dont have a proper prgraom I.E. "Spyware & Virus scan" Then something wrong or other cases. the company that build your pc is crap. My computer is one of the high ends and I can do alot to my pc completely so I can change anything to make it work better.

The trial never ends. You have to keep registering which fails if their site goes down (which it does often). Customer Service sucks. My view is if you have the balls to charge over 20.00 for your product then you should be making sure that your client base is well taken care of. Iolo doesn't seem to understand that and have lost my trust in them. If you have Version 7 already have not received the "urgent" download message, then you should be okay. But once you get duped into downloading, then you are screwed. I'm going to see about getting my credit card company to refund my money as my license no longer works and my "trial" ended last month. Attempts to contact the company have been useless. The only email I received back was one telling me to check their useless self-help section on their website. I wouldn't have a problem with this if the solution was actually contained there. Lesson learned here... NEVER buy from a company that doesn't provide adequate customer service. If you still have Version 6, stick with it... you've already spent your money, don't give Iolo anymore of it.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT:
IOLO needs to hire A NEW MECHANIC and should pull the plug on this software immediately.
As a former IOLO customer, I have lost all confidence and respect for this company and its product. This program has caused all kinds of problems on my system. I could not send or receive emails (and the tech tells me to send him an email of the problem), and the system regristry did all sorts of strange things on a brand new clean install of XP.
Their customer service is lousy and my several messages to their infamous extension 107 have gone unanswered. My emails to thier key people have gone unanswered and now I am spending time trying to warn others about this program. A big waste of time and money!
My advice: TRY THIS PRODUCT before you spend your money. I made the mistake of showing my loyality by upgrading from a previous version and now am out 40 bucks and have completely reformated my system to remove this program and clean my system from its affect.
If you are like me and are stuck with this lemon atleast we have a pretty box to remind us who NOT to buy from in the future.

There is NO support. If your problem cannot be solved via automated e-mail, you are out of luck! As I am writing this I am on hold for the second time today. I was on hold for 45 minutes earlier today. My license is disabled and I have not been able to run the program yet. Earlier today they said they reset the license. I have spent over 8 hours over the past 2 weeks fooling around with this outfit. I don't think they will be around in another 6 months!! AVOID this outfit. Oh yes, I was a happy customer for system mechanic 4, and 5!
