As with any machine, your PC needs regular tune-ups to maintain peak performance. This virtual toolbox can enhance the speed, safety, and power of your computer with a wide range of functions and an extensive help system.
System Mechanic performs cleanup, optimization, and privacy protection with equal agility. As with similar tune-up utilities, it enables you to clean up your registry, remove junk files, and customize hidden settings to improve performance. The app has additional tools for removing spyware and for defragmenting your hard drive, eliminating the need for multiple utility programs. There is an undo function that restores your system to its previous state, but its hidden in the SafetyNet tab and doesn't allow you to bring back one item at a time. The program also lacks a system profiler.
The bottom line, however, is that System Mechanic is one of the most complete, effective, and easy-to-use tune-up utilities we've seen to date.

Version: System Mechanic 5.0
"Quite good, quite effective."
Pros: Has very intuitive interface, has many tools to use on PC, all programs but one very effective. Spy catcher detected two that SpyBot - S&D didn't. Great product, I bought it.
Cons: Tweak PC or whatsoever isn't very effective. I made the "Start Menu Response Delay" or something like that to 0 milliseconds delay. I restarted and it became 5000 milliseconds! What?! Now that I try to turn it back to default(500 ms) it won't even if I restart. The rest is good.

Pros: Downloads and installs quickly
Cons: Poor descriptive home pages for each tool. Many tools are confusing to use, even after reading the so-called help files. Nothing is red flagged ref being a important system file, that should not be removed. It is up to you to figure out what stays and what goes. If you are wrong, you are out of a computer system. This software is for gamblers only and if you have the time to reinstall you computers Operating System, buy it, if not, do not, since it is junk software.
The pop up ad blocker is a joke and has to be manually set for each ad, to work correctly. The clean file tool is worthless, since it removes only a fraction of what it really needs to remove. The total interface of the software appears to be a comic book.

"If You Value Your System....Stay Away"
Pros: Lots of variety of ways to screw up your computer...many tools!
Cons: The disk defragger, after running 72 hours, messed up my hard drive so bad the the XP defragger took 20 passes to fix it. The RAM Defragger is a joke as is the spyware remover. The junk file cleaner removes critical files and the registry cleaner is poor.

"Maintenance Tools everyone should have."
Pros: Every once a while, there will be garbage files in your computer. Those files take up space, this program has the tool to scan your hard drive and delete those useless files. Also the same apply to Windows Registry, to keep your pc running more smoothly or efficiently, you need to clean out those garbage registry entries. There are other many tools available and included in the program. If you want your pc to run efficiently and faster then this program should do the job.

Pros: this softare has programs like spy swepper,registery mechanic lots of other goog software so instead of downloading lots of diferent programs download this cause enything you want is in there.
