From Stephane Madrau :SwitchRes is a completely configurable Control Strip module that allows you to change the resolution and the depth of your monitor. You can define which of the available resolutions can be accessed from its pop-up menu, and which of them will require confirmation. It handles main monitor changing, restores the chosen resolution after restart, functions properly even if a preferences file is not found on the startup disk, handles automatic icon-saving when more than one resolution is changed, and uses 32-bit icons on Mac OS 8.5. Version 2.5 offers many new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. In this trial version, some features will become disabled after seven days of use.
