"can't convert DRM protected WMA to MP3 and SoundTap bad shareware"
Pros: Seemed like an OK and easy audio file converter and comes with optional programs like wave editor and soundtap (audio ripper), which work (but not to my liking)
Cons: couldn't convert DRM protected WMA files to MP3 (my whole reason for trying this software) and even tried the option SoundTap program, but it reduced the sound quality of my WMA when creating the MP3 and added an audio advertisement every 20 seconds to "buy soundtap".

Version: Switch 1.12
Pros: Though I haven't tried every possible conversion, it does seem to encode well. Clean and simple interface.
Cons: It makes every conceivable effort to install other software during the installation process including the unstoppable installation of shortcuts to installation routines for around a dozen other titles (which can be deleted after the installation routine). With the conversions I tested - mp3 -> wma - it's a sloooooow process. When choosing conversion rates, the rates are listed out of order. Considering all this, I will be keeping it for the time being as its functionality is substantial for a freebie.

Pros: Even when you know nothing this is a straight forward help.
Cons: All the extra stuff that comes with it, it takes time to test and see if you need any of it.

"Saved me! Simple, straight forward music file converter - MUST HAVE!!!!"
Pros: OMG!!!!
This saved me! I said I would provide music at an upcoming church event. I'm using my old 80s/90s CDs uploaded to my computer. Well... Itunes uploads my music only into MP3s. Then I had this problem where Windows Media Player wouldn't create an AUDIO CD from that music. Basically I found out I needed to convert my files into WAV. files. LONG PROCESS TO DISCOVERY!!! So, I panicked and searched the internet for converters. Luckily I found SWITCH!!!!!!!!!! So easy and it was free!!!! I would pay money for this any day!!! Thank goodness!!!
