Easy to use and easy on the eyes, Swiff Chart adds much-needed pizzazz to traditional business graphs. Using Flash technology for a major visual pop, the software makes Microsoft Excel's charting tools look downright medieval. An extremely well-put-together wizard makes data importing and chart creation a breeze. Once you've taken care of the basics, several tools help you tweak a chart's size, data, legend, animation, and color scheme. The program includes plenty of examples for inspiration. You can export finished charts as rendered Flash files, JPEGs, or PowerPoint slides, among other formats. Those looking for full customization need not apply--there's no access to the Flash ActionScript and no way to add new transitions or animations. However, people who want a quick way to get attention at their next presentations should take a look at Swiff Chart.Publisher's description

The wizard-driven interface lets you cut and paste data from your spreadsheet or import it as a formatted text file, apply a predefined style, adjust parameters and animations, and instantly export your chart as a Flash (SWF) movie. Since Flash is supported by more than 98 percent of Web browsers, virtually everyone will be able to view your chart. The publisher also separately provides a free tool for embedding your finished animated charts into a PowerPoint presentation.
Version 3.2 fixes area charts as well as the incorrect rendering problem when exporting 0/90/180/270-degree shadows in the Acrobat PDF format. Also, transparent images are now correctly displayed in Flash format.

"Just didn't work for me. The task pane didn't work at all. Primitive charts."
Cons: Primitive charts, limited animation options, tak pane didn't work at all. Waste of time. Excel will do almost the same.

"An excellent piece of software. One of the best."
Pros: Out of the download this was an easy product to use. The results were nothing short of stunning for business presentations. I rarely use the charting functions in Excel anymore. Conservative transitions that can be easily modified and a very functional interface. Well worth the small price for what the product can do. Many thanks. Easy install and no noted conflicts or freezes. My OSs - XP Home and XP Professional.
