"Excellent Anti-Spyware Tool! Absolutely worth the $29!"

This is the 2nd time SuperAnitSpyware has worked 4 me when NOTHING ELSE did.
Cons
Nothing really, except that you do have to buy a license for each machine, but, it's only another $10 for lifetime updates. Considering how malicious these viruses are, it's a small price to pay.
Summary
This was one of the PCs in our office at SIUC. I want to describe this Virus, so you can appreciate the effectiveness of SuperAntiSpyware and see why I find it to be a superior product. The Staff informed the PC was infected. I started by calling SIUC's Tech Support and they offered their standard solution - Reformat the harddrive. My philosophy is ... Reformatting is for wusses. I told them I'd call them if I needed them and then I spent the next 2 days troubleshooting, researching, editing the registry, trying other free anti-virus/anti-malware programs. It was looking pretty grim. This virus was E-V-I-L. It disabled 2 different mice and two different keyboards; it also disabled my USB ports to keep me from installing these programs from my flashdrive. When I did get them onto the machine, It would not let me run either malware bytes or hijack this even in Safemode, even after renaming the folder and the exe files - to "fool" it, as one expert recommended. I remembered I had used SuperAntiSpyware about a year earlier on a laptop when all seemed hopeless, so using another machine I downloaded it onto a CD and booted the infected machine from the XP installation disk into Safemode, was able to install and run SuperAntiSpyware and the PC was up and running. I ran Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware alternately several times until neither turned anything up more. Somewhere in there, McAfee woke up and found a couple of viruses and deleted them as well. I suspect everything was part of the same infection.
For $29 I had my PC up & running & virus-free. Lifetime updates on an excellent antispyware program that does what none of the others seem to be able to do. -

would like to be able to remove items that I don't wish to update- such as trial copies of microsoft office, of which I only use word.

I have many customers that, unbeknowst to them, have downloaded Malware and Trojans that have infected their machines. Installing, updating, and then running this product has become a cureall.
