This set of system tools boasts a large and versatile feature set, replacing many standalone applications. Super Utilities Pro contains five main modules. Its tools remove junk files from your disk, the Registry, the start-up menu, program rosters, and RAM. Privacy Protector lets you hide or lock folders, clean your system tracks, password-protect applications that hold sensitive data, quickly and securely delete files, and hide IE Favorites and Start menu items from view. System Maintenance includes Task Manager-like functions, Internet Explorer customization tools, valuable system information, and utilities for tweaking Windows. With the Special Tools module, you can schedule shutdown times, locate and back up your drivers, identify space-hogging folders, and modify the Super Utilities context-menu options. System Cleaner features a handful of tools for cleaning your disk and the registry and for performing routine maintenance tasks. The latest addition to this program is the Security Doctor module, which provides a number of tools for keeping malware at bay. The scanner was fast and mostly accurate, though it unfortunately detected a few false positives. We like the tool for removing problematic BHOs; we also like the start-up manager, which is under the Security Doctor heading. In the end, Super Utilities Pro seems ideal for those seeking to retain their privacy and to keep their PCs in good running condition.Publisher's description
