Pros: I'm a member of about 6 or 8 different community theatres surrounding Philadelphia PA and I constantly use the Mp3 recorder to edit material that I need to create rehearsal CDs. They're soooo much easier to work with than the old audio tapes. I can pull songs from my musical CDs and then edit the songs to include only the portion that my role would be singing. I can lay down dialogue and edit out my mistakes which heretofore was impossible. I've even created a short story CD for my little grandniece. It's such fun, and the Mp3 recorder is so useful. I recently hooked up with a chap from England from whom I bought midi-files that are specifically created for specific voice parts of Gilbert & Sullivan. But with midi files I could only play them from the computer which was rather hampering my rehearsal style. With the help of your Mp3 Recorder I was able to convert (albeit in real time) the midi files into MP3 files and thus cut CDs so I can listen while commuting to work. Here again your editing feature proves invaluable -- his midi files include a lot of extraneous music not needed by me and so I was able to edit out portions of the songs which I don't sing. Ohhhh and one more great thing I use your Mp3 Recorder for. I now learned how simple it is to go from audio tape via cable directly into my PC, and now I can edit my voice lessons via the Mp3 Recorder.
