This program boasts most features we like to see in a recording application, but its ungenerous trial restriction is a definite turnoff. Super MP3 Recorder Professional's interface is both elegant and easy to use; clicking the Options button lets you set recording levels from a number of sources, such as a CD player, a telephone, or a line-in jack. Also, though this app can only capture sound in the MP3 and WAV formats, the scheduling tool and the voice-activation feature more than make up for its limited codec support. It's also nice that the program provides a very simple waveform editor for dicing up large sections of audio and adding fades, though the demo won't let you save your fixes. However, the biggest problem with Super MP3 Recorder Professional is that the trial version will only record 40 seconds of audio, which seems a bit unreasonable to us. However, if you're planning on paying for a recording program, you can definitely do worse than this one.Publisher's description
From Admire Soft :Super MP3 Recorder Professional makes a complete recording studio of your computer. With the recorder, you can record voice from microphone, Internet streaming audio, or music played by Winamp, Windows Media Player, QuickTime, RealPlayer, Flash, and games. Super MP3 Recorder Pro can automatically detect the recording formats your sound card supports, then set the application's parameters for the best possible performance. The recordings can be saved as MP3, WAV, WMA, VQF, and OGG files.
Super MP3 Recorder Pro can edit audio files as you desire by cutting, copying, pasting, and trimming, and with various DSP effects. Another useful feature is the recording schedule, which enables automatic recording. Super MP3 Recorder Pro 6.0 has a voice-activation system you can use to skip silent passages or to stop the recording after a certain amount of silence.

"Best I've tried from tape to hard disk"
Pros: MusicMatch is my main music machine and I love it; Roxio's Easy CD Creator has a great reputation and works well; but from cassette tape to hard disk, Super MP3 Recorder does the best job of making individual tracks without any cut-off or distortions. I had unresolvable problems with both MusicMatch and Easy CD Creator trying to record old cassette tapes to my hard disk. Super MP3 Recorder does the job perfectly after a little testing and tweaking the settings.

Pros: Awesome Recorder!
Whenever i wanted to record sounds off of the internet, i realized that WAV is O-U-T, OUT. so you can barely record anything with Sound Reorder. Then, while browsing msn, i found this perfect tool. it always works, its easy to use, and can record ANY Mp3 AND WAV file! Beat that Sound Recorder!

"No Information on Scheduled Recording"
Pros: Nice that with one button it will record whatever is playing through the sound card. This is helpful for streaming audio from weird sources where there is no identifiable URL.
Cons: The help for it is a joke. There is no mention in its help instructions of scheduled recordings.
When I tried to do a scheduled recording with the trial version, it did not work.
If they want me to pay $30, they are going to have to have some reasonable help instructions and they need to make the scheduler work.

"It works and is very intuitive"
Pros: It has multiple levels of quality to record and has modest editing abilities as well. and if you are like me and love getting songs from games and similar this is a good program.
Cons: 40 sec trial record is short but it is enough to prove it works...for the love of god these people program for money!! lets pay them if we use their work....:) (gets off soap box)
