This fine pop-up blocker won us over with its effective performance and unexpected extra features. Since Super Ad Blocker sits in your system tray and can be added to your Internet Explorer toolbar, it's convenient to access no matter what you're doing.
The application's logically organized main window is split into tabs for ad blocking, history cleaning, cookies, statistics, notification, and options. In our tests, the program did an excellent job of quashing all types of pop-ups, banner ads,Flash ads, and Google ads when using both Internet Explorer and Firefox. You can add allowed sites to a whitelist.
This program's antispyware tool performed quite well, stopping the vast majority of adware that tried to run on our system. The malware scanner also did a decent job. Beyond its prowess with pop-ups, Super Ad Blocker also lets you clear your Web-surfing and Windows histories. You also can view statistics on blocked-ad types and frequencies.
Users who need a high-performance pop-up blocker, spyware protection, a history cleaner, or all three certainly will benefit from Super Ad Blocker.

"It effectivly killed "Firefox"!"
Pros: What a terrible application this. Topping it off, it's affiliated with and installs "Super Anti Spyware" which is not good. I installed it specifically to block "Yahoo Widget" and "Comcast Band Width" adds from download.com and then "Firefox" would not even open. Not only is this a next to worthless application, these adds by "download.com are the most aggravating thing I've seen in years. They show on every application page and with every browser on my computer. Since when does anyone need or want these adds? This application is not effective and will cause more headaches then it's worth. The only good thing about it is, it uninstalled easily. I can only hope these adds aren't affecting other download members like they are me. If anyone knows how to block these adds, please leave a comment and tell me how.

Version: Super Ad Blocker 4.4.1012
Pros: A simple...but 'vital' programme of which scans your PC and alerts you to every programme that is installed. The programme collects a complete list of everything you have installed and everything that is running and gives a summary of the programmes safety. There is even an 'icon' display to alert you to what the meaning of the scanned programme indicates. This is a great piece of software for searching unknown software of which could be potentially dangerous.

"EXCELLENT & WORKS WITH VISTA!"
Pros: Great program, does what is says it will do. Have had it for several years and bought a lifetime subscription. Disregard the other post saying it doesn't work with Vista, because I've had Vista and SuperAdBlocker for almost 2 months and I have no conflict whatsoever.
Cons: Absolutely NONE!
