This fine pop-up blocker won us over with its effective performance and unexpected extra features. Since Super Ad Blocker sits in your system tray and can be added to your Internet Explorer toolbar, it's convenient to access no matter what you're doing. The application's logically organized main window is split into tabs for ad blocking, history cleaning, cookies, statistics, notification, and options. In our tests, the program did an excellent job of quashing all types of pop-ups, banner ads,Flash ads, and Google ads when using both Internet Explorer and Firefox. You can add allowed sites to a whitelist. This program's antispyware tool performed quite well, stopping the vast majority of adware that tried to run on our system. The malware scanner also did a decent job. Beyond its prowess with pop-ups, Super Ad Blocker also lets you clear your Web-surfing and Windows histories. You also can view statistics on blocked-ad types and frequencies. Users who need a high-performance pop-up blocker, spyware protection, a history cleaner, or all three certainly will benefit from Super Ad Blocker.Publisher's description

"prevents diff. ads like no other."
Pros: my computer: PIV 2.6 ghz 1G RAM (XP) IE 6.0
1)prevents ads. prevents banners, pop-up, pop-under, flash, GIF's and IM ads. very good blocking abilities. as far as blocking is concerned, Super ad blocker does it well.
2)compared to POPUPcop, this one prevents ads, flash, gif and banners before they appear. POPUPcop on the other hand, diplays them BEFORE killing them. hey, prevention is better than cure.
3)can clean and manage cookies
4)can clean usage tracks
5)can protect homepage from changes
6)highly configurable settings.
YOU'LL HAVE SO MUCH TO LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. (except for the short trial period)
Cons: now, I found a few minor hitches:
1)if you would right click at your IE pane and click-select among the toolbar choices: "super ad blocker" it would not display an entire toolbar but a very small, unusable *display bar* at the rightmost corner SAYING---> "super ad blocker" enclosed in a box, though what you really wanted was a toolbar and not A DISPLAY BAR. you need to do it thru the icon at the system tray before the IE "super ad blocker toolbar" displays properly.
2)the spyware tools are practicaly "poor" if you already have: SPybot search and destroy, Ad-Aware and Spywareblaster---all of which are free anti-spyware tools.
3)the producers, however, have failed to disclose that their product is bundled with "SUPER anti-spyware". it suprised me that it was installed in my system. though a legal and certified antispyware program, I hate bundles and most of us do.
4) i understand the need for the program to update its spyware blocking components before you can use it, but I wish the update download was a bit shorter than 5~8 minutes(dial-up)--because you can't open any browser until the update finishes.
OVER ALL, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AD BLOCKER FOR THOSE WHO REALLY WANTED A TOUGH, STRAIGHTFORWARD, RELIABLE AND CONFIGURABLE AD BLOCKER.

"Stops the pop-up I don't want and allows the ones I want."
Pros: Stops the pop-up I don't want and allows the ones I want. Allows some websites that have news video in Flash format. SuperAd Blocker allows you to save what sites you want to allow while blocking out all the rest, without having to always hold down the CTRL key.
Cons: Never seems to be any updates to this program. But can't complain it does what it was designed to do.

Pros: This prog blocks so many things-i ran with out it for a few hours and i lost my sanety!-wont make that mistake again-blocks the spyware and popups ads the best of any

"Killed every last piece of spyware on my P.C."
Pros: I had severe problems with popups (sometimes 20-30 within a 60 second time period). I ran this software, and have not had a popup in hours. My P.C. is also running faster right now.
Cons: The only problem with this software is he amount of time it takes to scan files. It may take awhile, but it's well worth the wait.
