Summary
I have always used StuffIt Expander to open .rar files, and prior versions of Stuffit Expander opened them seamlessly. The latest version of Stuffit Expander (2011), however, could not open several .rar files I needed to open. It's worth noting that some .rar files could be opened by Stuffit Expander 2011, but not all. When I resurrected an older version of Stuffit Expander, the .rar files opened like a charm. What happened?
And more importantly, is this a bug in the release, or has Expander stopped supporting some versions of some formats? If the latter, which formats is Expander 2011 no longer supporting? -
