This versatile imaging package does almost everything a casual photographer needs it to do. StudioLine Photo's bulky but handsome Mac-style interface makes it convenient for editing several photos at once. The program applies your operations immediately to any number of images. It maintains the original image in its image archive and keeps a record of any changes or enhancements. You can resize, crop, perform color corrections, and visually balance image quality and size. The program guides beginners through all steps of gallery creation and teaches good Web-design manners. We appreciate that the program gives you numerous templates for creating Web galleries, greeting cards, calendars, and CD covers. The demo version of the paid StudioLine Photo package improves on the free StudioLine Photo Basic by lifting limits on the number of photos in a gallery and by including several page templates. It also imports photos directly from most digital cameras. However, you still cannot change the gamma or the buttons. Easy to use and instructive, StudioLine Photo is a solid choice for novices and photo hobbyists.

    Version: StudioLine Photo 2.10.7

"This is possibly the best digital imaging software product I have ever used!"

by William Madaras on July 11, 2005

Pros: StudioLine Photo 2.10 offers a really cool update of its StudioLine Explorer! It offers a new level of convenience that enables Explorer searches to be easily launched directly from the toolbar. It also offers a new slide bar for selecting images and allows me to view them in thumbnail sizes up to 160 x 160 pixels. This capability allows me to assess and distinguish final images for archiving.

StudioLine Photon 2 also offers other enhancements to its Explorer like a Select All button to simply navigate to a folder and select subfolders and individual images rather than selecting each individually.

A new imaging panel is great for easily choosing a designated folder in the image archive. There is even an option to consolidate all subfolders into one, and then retain it in the same image archive folder.

Last, but not least, StudioLine Photo 2.10 offers a more convenient web gallery wizard for publishing galleries easily. You just choose a design and the wizard will neatly organize available options in a window. You can then immediately preview the gallery

and return to the options for any adjustments.

"I don't know it never would run setup."

by Bianca Jauri on July 7, 2005

Pros: Your web site is the best freeware site I have found on the web. You tell right off if the download is free or to try. thanks for your honesty.

Cons: I spent 2 hours downloading the free 30 days trial, so I could see if it had any thing my MGI didn't. It never would run setup. all it did was keep dialing up the website and telling me to buy the full version, I am pretty computer savy so I have a 43 mb program in my computer that is just taking up space. Help?
