From ItWorks :StormPredator displays personal near real-time NEXRAD doppler radar images as well as watches and warnings for any USA location on your PC desktop on colorful 3D Topographic maps. SP3 Includes exclusive storm tracker and predictor tools, plus personal scan zone & distance measuring tools that helps you track storms, predict ETA, & plot storm paths. It's like having a personal weather radar on your PC to warn of approaching storms. E-mail & cell phone alerts can be sent when storms reach levels you set. SP3 will also send color radar images to cell phones and publish full color radar images to Web sites.
Version 3.24 adds new failover feature to handle situations when NWS radar servers go down or have heavy traffic.
