Publisher's description of StormPredator 3.1
From ItWorks:StormPredator displays personal near real-time NEXRAD doppler radar images as well as cloud to ground lightning strikes for any USA location on your PC desktop on colorful 3D Topographic maps. SP3 Includes exclusive storm tracker and predictor tools, plus personal scan zone & distance measuring tools that helps you track storms, predict ETA, & plot storm paths. It's like having a personal weather radar on your PC to warn of approaching storms. E-mail & cell phone alerts can be sent when storms reach levels you set. SP3 will also send color radar images to cell phones and publish full color radar images to Web sites.
Version 3.1 has lightning strike display and includes new contour smoothing algorithm to match TV news style radars.

Version: StormPredator 3.1
"Pretty Good, But Not The Greatest"
Pros: It has radar, you can track storms, see other stuff, not much more.
Cons: The radar outdates quickly, it can be confusing to navigate, tracking is too sensitive, a couple pixels changes the entire track. If it was free, it would be 5 stars, but there just aren't enough features to make me want to buy it.

Version: StormPredator 3.1
"Took out all the previous negative reviews I see, that must keep you buys busy"
Pros: It looks slick and cool. It also has a few tricks you can do with it but....
Cons: All it does is take old and not necessarily current radar images that you can get for free from any weather website and they added a sweeping hand that makes you think it's actually and currently scanning the weather. It was very buggy from the start. I had two city images, one over the other every time I used it.

Version: StormPredator 3.1
Pros: Not many.
Cons: After purchasing this software numerous bugs were found. Their sollution to this problem was for the so-called "company" to establish a "chat forum" were USERS work out the problems. Soon they issued a "new" version (for a substantial charge) by claiming it could track lightening strikes. Several months later, this "company" NOW claims the lightening strike feature will no longer be available as they will not renew their contract with the provider. Will they offer a refund to those who purchased the "new" version? Nope. In my oninion, this is nothing more than a pathetic scam and there are MUCH better weather programs available.
