From Stellar Information Systems :Stellar Phoenix Mailbox Professional is designed to repair and restore email and data from damaged or corrupted Microsoft outlook file. Microsoft Outlook stores e-mail messages, contacts, notes and folders on the local drive as a .pst file. It scans the damaged .pst file, extracts and then saves information in a new usable .pst file. The program is read only and is safe to use. The program includes support for Outlook XP and Outlook 2003. Version 3.0 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"Caution: The Download is a DEMO ONLY"
Pros: Did find and open a PST file that had been backed up to CD. But then I couldn't do anything with it.
Cons: The download version is severely limited. I wasted a lot of time downloading and installing, only to get this message: "In the demo version, you can view and recover FIVE emails, few contacts & calendar entries." Direct quote from their software.
Summary: The demo version is useless. The paid version is USD $129. From the demo, I can't tell if any of the other features work. It didn't recover any email messages, just the list. I'm going to look for another product. This demo wasted my time, and ... read more >>

"don't bother; outlook 2003/07 has same feature inbuilt"
Pros: i have nothing good to say about this program since they want $129 for a function that's already part of Outlook/Office
Cons: Don't bother with these cheats; there is a program in the Office 2003 and 2007 program directory called scanpst.exe that performs the same function; it scans & repairs corrupted PST files. I had corrupted PST files and Office version worked fine.

Pros: Sounded good.
Cons: Wasn't good. Altered Office such that a critical DLL would not load. Ultimately I had to completely remove Office from the machine and re-install. With some grief.
Summary: The product simply didn't work. It trashed part of Office such that it would no longer load. In the processes of installing this software it requests the use of the MS Office CD. That should have been a warning to me. Reinstalling Office meant strip... read more >>

"Awful. Do not buy this software."
Pros: Recovered email from pst file. (that is it)
Cons: Does not perform as advertised. Does NOT recover calendar items, notes, tasks, etc.Poor user interface.
Takes FOREVER! 8 hours to run on one PST file.
Customer service is really bad.Summary: Just very poor all around. Maybe they have better other products .. but I would not recommend the PST file repair software.

"You can save your PST Outlook file with this."
Pros: It will scavange your PST file and give you back the emails, contacts, calendars, notes, etc.
The tech support is responsive and helpful.Cons: It takes a very long time to do its work if you have large PST files. Mine was 1+ gb with 12,000+ emails, 1000+ contacts and it took 18 hours.
Summary: This may be the only program available that will repair your PST file. In my case, the backups were corrupted, too, so I had to fix it.
