Publisher's description
From Robert Webb :Stella4D is a tool for investigating 3D and 4D polytopes, letting you create a huge range of polytopes, rotate them in 3D or 4D on-screen, and print nets so you can build your own paper models. Images can be displayed on a polyhedron's faces and printed on the nets. Included are the uniform polyhedra (Platonic, Archimedean, Kepler-Poinsot), all 1849 known uniform 4D polychora (the only place these can be seen), Johnson solids, Stewart toroids, compounds, and geodesic domes. Duals of polytopes are available, and polyhedra can be stellated, faceted, zonohedrified or augmented/excavated/drilled leading to trillions of new polyhedra. 4D polytopes can be projected into 3D, and watch their 3D cross-sections animating as the slicing hyperplane moves. Export to 3D DXF, POV-Ray, VRML, or OFF, and import from 3D or 4D Off format. Morph between dual polyhedra using six different techniques. And if you have red-blue glasses, you can see it all in 3D.
