Version: Starport Galactic Empires 1.32
Pros: Great, clean interface. Free to play, and the game has a surprising amount of depth (thousands of planets/ hundreds of solar systems)
- Get a bunch of your friends to join you and play in one of the re-bang games (games that start over every 2 weeks) Then join a corporation, build colonies, pillage the galaxy, upgrade your ships, smuggle cargo, escort NPC traders, etc...
The gameplay blew me away and had me hooked for a month or two.
The game is truly persistent, and war between players is constantly waging. Combat is great fun! You have to stay in a hotel or colony when you log off, or else stay in open space or set down on a planet (very risky)
I enjoyed trying to find the paradise worlds and setting up colonies. Dueling with pirates is great fun. You have a reputation in the game (pos. or neg.) If it gets high enough, you can apply for a UN commission to fly an Imperial Starcruiser. And bad guys can rob space stations once their rep. is low enough. (and get a sweet Pirate-only cruiser)
While I was hooked, I had more fun with this than I have had with Guild Wars and WoW. Check it out!
Cons: After a few weeks, you've seen most of what this game has to offer - but you have nothing to lose, so check it out.
Graphics are 2-D, but look crisp, and the multi-layered star backgrounds make up for a lack of 3-D.
After you run out of warpfuel, you have to log off or just sit until it regenerates (though there is a secret way to generate a little extra) While this helps to balance gameplay, it'll stop you from playing more than 2 or so hours a day, depending on how tricked out your ship is.

Version: Starport Galactic Empires 1.32
"Tedious repetitive time sink."
Cons: The devs are very distant from the players, and after the first week or so of learning everything, it becomes infuriating. I definitely would advise anybody to find a better game.

Version: Starport Galactic Empires 1.32
Cons: Too much to list, cheaters, bad admins, total lack of gameplay and fun...feels more like work than a game.

Version: Starport Galactic Empires 1.32
"Pretty good, but needs progress"
Pros: Good Graphics, weapons, ships.
Almost no lagg.
You can colonize planets.
Cons: -Not enough planets to go around.Big corporations colonize all of them, its pretty much a planet monopoly. Not many players.Warp fuel, which is necesarry to travel runs out after a day or two. I don't reccomend it

Version: Starport Galactic Empires 1.32
Pros: Lots of difrent playing field and very user friendly.
Cons: the only Con I have is waiting for your fuel cells to recharge. You can pay for credits that eliminate down time, but im cheap. there are ways to get fuel in game but it takes some searching. just be fuel concerned if your cheap like me :)
