From Javacool Software :SpywareBlaster doesn't scan for and clean spyware--it prevents it from being installed in the first place. SpywareBlaster prevents the installation of ActiveX-based spyware, adware, dialers, browser hijackers, and other potentially unwanted programs. It can also block spyware/tracking cookies in IE, Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, and many other browsers, and restrict the actions of spyware/ad/tracking sites. With the built-in Check for Updates feature, you can help ensure your protection is up-to-date. SpywareBlaster also includes a System Snapshot feature, which lets you take a snapshot of your computer in its clean state and later revert, undoing many changes made by spyware and browser hijackers.
Version 4.0 includes full Vista support, protection for many additional web browsers (including Netscape, Seamonkey, and Flock), and adds various feature and protection enhancements, tweaks, and optimizations.

"Still great.. bad interface."
Pros: This program still protects Firefox, Internet Explorer and a lot other browsers from Spyware which is a good idea. After you enable protection, and close the program, it runs in the background without using any memory or processes yet still blocks activex spyware. Interesting program and I like it. Small, useful, and very easy to setup.
Cons: Bad interface. I didn't expect anything drastic. Just because it's for Vista doesn't mean it has to be all shiny. I like programs that don't have the "vista look" ..I think it's really ugly, almost like Ad-Aware SE..

Pros: Works better than spyware terminator.Keeps all the bad cookies off my system.
Cons: No complaints does the job and it's free.

Pros: Have been almost totally threat free from spyware since I started using this app. Current UI is the most intuitive yet. Updates to database have to be done manually, unless you opt to buy a license, but it's a quick & simple three click process, so not a major hassle
