Installing by downloaded setup and launching the program it required the license number which supposed to purchase the Pro version. No option for free version possible.
Summary
Installing by downloaded setup.exe for free version useless. Application does not start without license number.

2012 version worked OK...2015 NOT SO MUCH.

I refreshed a seldom used PC, installing Spyware Terminator 2015 to replace 2012.
The database is 161 days old but won't update after repeated attempts
The website was no help
I found a site that claimed to offer a database download, but when I unpacked it, the date was 2012
Summary
I use 2012 on a few PC's...I won't be going to 2015 and may just uninstall those that I have. Between avast, malwarebytes, windows defender and super anti-spyware this just isn't needed. Installing ST 2015 was just a waste of my time...after reading my review perhaps it'll save you some time. there are plenty of anti-malware programs that actually work.

None, unless you love headaches.

Malware, pure and simple. This program interrupts any running program and throws the computer back to the desktop to try to get you to purchase the full version. When I tried to uninstall, I received a message saying the uninstall file did not work. After reloading three times and getting the same message, I called their help line. They tried to scam me by saying it was due to administration event errors and wanted to charge me $199 to fix it. Absolutely horrid program.
Summary
This program is only good for infecting your computer.

Fast Scan takes 1 to 2 minutes.
Installed on 3 computers, it detected a trojan on the first one, that no other tool had found. I was suspicious of this and fully expected it to find the same one on the other two, but as it was only on one computer I have to assume it was genuine.
Cons
All I want is something I can scan with now and again, but every time I run Spyware Terminator it adds its Updater to my startup. I don't want it running all the time, and there doesn't seem to be an option to prevent this. I'd rather be able to click for a simple update before scanning, like you do with MalwareBytes.

Was able to install and had a good interface.. thats all
Cons
Literally slows down the system as rightly mentioned by the CNET crew. Identified a rogur object , hanged the system and had to restart the system. Finally uninstalled it. Anytime would go with MBAM or SAS.

Summary
spyware terminator free is not worth downloading . There are far better antimalwares. Spyware terminator used to be really good when it had clam AV integration but now it just isn't very good.(only my opinion)

It is a good antimalware when it is free version and the pro version has so many features and uses little resources.
Cons
Uses Fprot antivirus which isn't considered a great antivirus, but it's other signatures make up for that.
Summary
Very great antimalware, a lot better than 16th place for sure maybe should be in the top five and even the top three.

Pros
daily updates of antispyware database, very good detection, almost 0 false-positives, low at resources, simple UI
Cons
Haven't found any, only the version with antivirus is paid.
