Version: Spy Emergency 2007 4.0.205

"No longer cuts the mustard for me."

Pros: The signature database is no larger is no larger then the last release of the 2006 version. The interface is imoproved. Everything else, like so many others has gone down the tubes. Not recommended, especially when "Spyware Terminator" is better and free. Or "counter Spy" which seriously outshines this app is cheaper. Fix it "Netgate", or just go away!

Cons: The price has gone up but the signature file has not. The scan times are significantly longer. The recource usage is noticably higher. I've filed it with my list of average, at best security app's. Big deal that it's now "Vista Compatable". So is "counter Spy" and it's cheaper, has a larger, by far data base and is lighter on recources and is much more efective in both in it's shields, detection and removal capabilities.
