Version: Spy Emergency 2006 3.0.190
Pros: It has a nice interface and searches the computer's memory, registry, hard drive and cookies. It's also pretty fast in scanning and depicts spyware it deems to be hazardous.
Cons: The thing about this program is that it doesn't have the programming to look for every single spyware. There could still be threats lose on your system.

"Way too many false positives"
Pros: Lets you review the false positives before deleting.
Cons: I downloaded this and checked it out because I saw it mentioned on a forum I frequent. Some examples of false positives: The Google toolbar which I have uninstalled was picked up as BookedSpace, whatever that is. It found 8 urls in my Trusted Sites that aren't in my trusted sites. They may be in my restricted sites but I didn't look. It found something called emusic toolbar. I have never heard of it. It found Adult Favorites in my Entertainment folder in IE. I don't visit those sites, nor do I have any in my Entertainment folder. One more example. I don't think the Weather Channel program is spyware, otherwise I wouldn't have downloaded it. Yes, I removed it later due to too many progs running at startup. Spy emergency wanted to remove the rest of it. There are other false positives I won't get into. All in all, it's a POS. I'll be uninstalling it. As a control, I ran Ad-Adware before I ran Spy emergency. It only found 10 cookies.

"Spyware remover? Wouldn't let it go that far."
Pros: I never got past the initial screen
Cons: Upon opening, this program tried to reset all my internet settings without prompting. Luckily, Spybot prevented the changes. Avoid this program at all costs if you actually want to control your own settings.
