evreythime i try to ply video source the programe crashed and stoped worked but i liked the video effet especialy the scroling text can they please try to fix the video thing

Can't say- I uninstalled when it wouldn't run.
Cons
reconfigured browser search to bing. gave 'insufficient resources' when started.
Summary
NO ONE get's to reconfigure my browser without permission, what's worse, it asked permission, I unchecked the boxes, AND IT DID IT ANYWAY.

"Annoying - Changed My Search Engine automatically"

Pros
The desktop sharing "source" looks really good and easy. Easily switch between which video source you want to use.
Cons
It's nasty! It changed my default search engine on all my browsers without asking. It installed it's own toolbar in Firefox & IE without asking permission. And it wiped all my home pages and replaced it with it's own search page.
Summary
Watch out! It makes so many changes to your internet settings to point to itself - it's really annoying!

"Records Videos with NO SOUND-"

Pros
None,ever since they brought out the new version Splitcam 5,every sigle one including this records videos without any sound. What good is that?
Cons
Does not work. you cannot record or play videos with sound. This is a problem that has NEVER been fixed in any version of Splitcam 5,including this version.
Summary
Splitcam keep on saying that they will fix the sound problem in Splitcam 5 but they never do. About every 2 months they make new versions of Splitcam 5 and claim they have fixed the sound problem. BUT still I cannot record or play any webcam videos with sound. I do not know why they even bothered to make Splitcam 5. The old version 4 was better. Although it never was made to record videos it was better than this version. But now the old version is not supported although you can still get it. VERDICT- I have tried this on 4 computers and it does not work. So it is time for me to leave this software and move on to another webcam software. I was a fan of Splitcam until they changed it and made this-Splitcam 5. So now me and Splitcam are now parting company. I am moving on. Andrea Borman.
Well,it is pointless to make a product that says it records webcam videos if it will not record any sound. So this version is useless. Do not waste your time with this one. Andrea borman.

"Good software, overall."

Pros
- Has a built in recorder. Excellent feature.
- Has many options for resolution, including HD.
- Has a simplistic design, which I like.
- Options to chose from: Desktop, Webcam, Video, or Pictures.
- Fairly customizable.Cons
- Contrary to it's name, it doesn't seem to have a option to split the screens. Atleast not that I've found.
- Has an ad for a cam site built into the interface, which is a minor issue.Summary
Overall, I'm satisfied with this software. I'd prefer it over manycam any day out of the week. It just needs a few more features, and it'd be a total package. I give it an 4 out of 5.
