The Borland Compiler is a hard-to-use DOS compiler, and this shell inputs file information and command-line options from a friendly user interface, then displays output in a printable or savable textbox for later reference.

Version: Spetnik's C++ Compiler Shell 3.0
Pros: it is simple but it does what it says it should. i like to use borland but i don't like all the command line rubish, this shell makes it easy.
this is an interface shell,nothing more, if you want a development package use a different program.
i have not encountered the missing .dll that other users are complaining about, but then again i am not trying to make this program do more than it is supposed to.

"Tells me I'm missing a file I have installed"
Cons: Won't let me do anything becuase it claims I don't have a dll file that I do. I even checked to make sure the dll was up to date. It was such a genius idea too...

Summary: The theory behind this is good, along with the interface. I didn't have any trouble installing or finding the missing .dll. Still, the darn thing just doesn't work! The help menu doesn't open the help file, I have to find it and open it manually.... read more >>
