I didn't have to wait 10 hours for it download and install like Mcaf** programs or programs like that.
It was quick to help me find the correct software I needed to open a college doc and it seemed to have an auto cleaner to empty my trash can, defrag and clean my cookies etc. All things that I could do myself, but If I use SpeedMaxPc it saves me about 20 minutes.
There's not really anything I'm not happy with, the options are very clear and easy to use. I choose to opt out of annual renewal "On the Order Form". You can't miss that unless your blind, or don't read anything on order pages when you use your credit card online. He he he.
Great for scheduled cleaning and opening different file extensions.
Trying to think of something positive to say. I believe it came with a 30 day money back guarantee but so far I've not found a way to do that.
I was searching for a solution to an error message and found this program. It appeared to be free, then I found it was $29 - fine I need a solution. After running the scan, I now have a new problem - My computer is unable to locate winlogon.exe so I am unable to install Windows updates - a much bigger problem!!
Very little good to say. The company markets themselves well. The technician on the phone was friendly, although the explanations were brief and incomplete and when our call was disconnected, they didn't call back to complete their services (although they indicated they would). Guess they got their money and had moved on to the next poor soul.
This did very little to help my situation and did not do what was promised in their description. They processed the one-time payment on PayPal, and were very sneaky about setting up annual recurring payments through my account that I did NOT authorize.
Does absolutely nothing but try to convince you that your computer has all of these awful registry errors that need fixing and drivers that need updating, when in reality, there's nothing wrong with your computer, but plenty wrong with this product. Automated registry cleaners are a good way to completely trash your computer.
Don't use it, not even the trial and certainly don't pay for it. If your computer is slow, have it looked at by a tech, get more RAM, get the memory eating programs and toolbars off of it, look on your pc manufacturer's site for drivers.
In my own opinion I would say its better than the well known Glary Utility tool or Avast Free addition, other then the fact that you need to registrar and pay for a yearly subscription which only costs $29 bucks, it's...
Not bad for the ease of use it gives me eh!
Very simple to use, download is rather quick and installs fast, begins scan automatically. I like it because you can choose which directoties you want the tool to optimize an clean rather then just wiping out your entire machine "like some of the other utilities" that do just that.... Wipe your entire computer slate clean without asking if you want to save any of those emails in your outlook folder lol.
Support was very easy to contact, I did have an issue understanding how to use file extension manager and what the whole concept was behind it, so afater talking with one of their support reps, they quickly brought me up too speed on how to use it.
What I don't like about it, is the fact that it asked for my email and name multiple times while registering it. I'm not sure what the purpose is behind that, but was a bit irritating. Also when I went to see how easy it would be to uninstall speedmaxpc, I quickly learned that I could have gotten the program for much cheaper.
They have a scheme setup, that after you choose to uninstall it, they send you an email giving you the option to order it half price. It would have been cool had I known that before I ordered it. ha ha ha!
Ive been looking for an easy to use system cleaner and defragger, because the defragger that comes on my computer does not work correctly.
I can say I was a bit skeptical at first seeing how its a relatively new program, but after using it and applying all the capabilities it has, I would say it's just as effective as any of the other utilities out there with plenty of perks that the companies offer you after you buy the software.
They don't spam you to heck or constantly shove offers down your throat. They are very pleasant to talk with and easy to get support when you need it.
Does not remove ALOT toolbar as specifically advertized. Company will not respond to inquiries both e-mail and on there support site. Am unable to get refund for the purchase of this disappointing program.
I agree with your summary--stay away from this product and SafeCart. I was charged twice for the program and then when I finally got that straightened out, or so I thought, the license key would not work. So after a month of getting unsatisfactory responses from SpeedMaxpc and SafeCart, I gave up. Also, I still haven't seen a credit on my account, like promised, for the double payment. So I've paid $60 for a very frustrating experience.
