Version: Spamfighter 4.7.4
"Caused Outlook XP to lock up. Not worth the trouble."
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Used it with Windows 2000 Pro and Outlook XP. Caused Outlook to crash, lockup, etc. even after Spamfighter did a self diagnosis and downloaded a fix. The best part was when I did an uninstall.

"Works but misleadingly "free" as it's only one month free, then $29 per year."
Pros: It catches most of the few spam emails I receive effectively. Please see Cons to be fully informed of what you may be downloading.
Cons: It seems that it should be advertised as "free to try" and not "free" as it currently is shown. You only get one month free and then have to pay $29 per year and sign up. I will probably look for a real "free" spam filter (there are some) to take it's place instead of paying a recurring fee to register. $29 to buy it would be one thing but a yearly recurring nearly $30 fee does add up.

"OK but disappears periodically without notice"
Pros: It worked as stated, though not perfectly.
Cons: Periodically it would disappear from my computer without warning. I'd open my email and there would be spam, and the usual "block" or "unblock" buttons on my toolbar would be gone. This is annoying enough that I'm going to try another product.
