Publisher's description
From LogSat Software :SpamFilter is used by ISPs and companies running their SMTP servers. It is designed to be a proxy to your incoming SMTP server receiving all e-mails addressed to your domain. If the sender's IP is not blacklisted in DNS-MAPS based black lists then the e-mail is forwarded to your SMTP server. Our new SFBD (SpamFilter Distributed Database) is a huge database of spammer's IPs updated in realtime by all SpamFilter installations in the world. A new filter to scan inside embedded images is also included. Statistical Bayesian DNA fingerprinting, along with dozens of blacklist/white rules are also be applied to filter spam. Examples are country filters, SPF and SURBL filters, remote DNS validation tests. An optional antivirus plug-in is available. End users have Web access to their quarantined e-mails. They can view, delete, and force delivery of their own quarantined e-mail without having to ask the system administrators.
Version 4.0.1.786 includes some minor bug fixes and the option to install the end-user quarantine Web interface via the Windows Installer.

"Resolved All our Spam problems 10 minutes after install"
Pros: Very efficient (resource-wise), completely configurable, easy to use, great customer support. Extremely robust and reliable - even works when things like an Enterprise Database is not available - Amazing!
Cons: I don't have a customer calling me every day with Spam problems! :)
Summary: This product is incredible and has allowed our organization to focus on our mission - not mail problems. We have been using it for a year and I recommend to fellow colleagues who support mail - especially those who don't have time to support mail!

"I concur with the others. Excellent product."
Pros: It's able to process our email traffic with an almost imperceptible CPU usage...! Finally a product that doesn't place files all over the place - this has everything in its own directory, and upgrades require only to replace the .exe file :-)
Cons: The administration web interface is still in beta and not super user-friendly, but we honestly prefer to use "real" GUIs in heneral to configure applications, so this is not a big problem.

"Very accurate with awesome support"
Pros: Inexpensive, very accurate, support is great - bug fixes in hours, not months, ask for a new feature and sometimes they will implement it within weeks... try having this with a bigger company!
Cons: Wish there was a version for Linux!

"Super-affordable, and even better, super accurate!"
Pros: There's an huge amount of filtering options available, even though out-of-the-box everything is incredibly accurate. Dropping two zeros from the price compared to other products made us think this was too good to be true. NOT! It's the real thing :-)
Cons: Wish we'd found it sooner...
