Publisher's description
From Netadelica :An authentic, small and addictive version of Taito's original Space Invaders. At the time of writing it, in 1996, there were no properly authentic Space Invaders clones, so this may count as the first. It's meant to be authentic, so that means chunky 1978-era graphics. Thousands of happy users...

Version: Space Invaders 1978 2.0
Pros: This is about as close to the original arcade game as is possible.
It does have sound - for XP users, search the internet for VDMSound and download and install it. To play the game, right click on the game exe and select Run with VDMS.
To start a game, press Enter at the GAME OVER message.
Cons: Will make you late for work.

Version: Space Invaders 1978 2.0
"All it did was show a screen that said game over."
Cons: It didn't do anything but show that screen. What's up with that? Can you spell DUD?

Version: Space Invaders 1978 2.0
Summary: For those dumb people who think this is a hoax, you are supposed to press ENTER when you see "Game over" and then play the game using the left ctrl to go left, the right alt to go right, and the right shift to shift. Very fun to play.

Version: Space Invaders 1978 2.0
"It's IT with no sound-effects"
Summary: Yep, it's the classic Green Invaders but without sound. It's kinda cheesy but free and good enough.

"It's ok, just not as easy with keyboard instead of old fashioned joystick"
