Sound Forge is professional sound editing software for Windows. It includes an extensive set of audio processes, tools, and effects for manipulating audio. Sound Forge can be combined with any Windows-compatible sound card to create, record, edit, and refine audio files. Version 4.5 makes it possible to synchronize audio and video with frame accuracy. The update also supports RealAudio and RealVideo, Active Streaming Format (ASF), and Java (AU); includes the Sonic Foundry Batch Converter and Spectrum Analysis plug-ins; and supports other plug-ins based on Microsoft’s DirectX Streaming Services architecture.
