Sothink SWF Quicker is a leading Flash editor and Flash maker. With this Flash software you can edit SWF directly or make Flash from scratch. It supports AS 3.0; supports applying rich built-in animated effects to Flash movie elements; provides quick-start templates to create Flash Albums, Banners, Navigation Buttons and Slide Shows easily.

This SWF Editor can make animation or edit SWF of Flash V6, V7, V8, CS3(V9), CS4(V10) and CS5. In spite of lower cost, it provides the same vector editing capability as Adobe Flash does, such as brush, eraser, pen, etc. It supports adding Motion/Shape/Image Tween. The Image Tween animation is also used to create unique photo morph effect. Seven Flash filters let you add visual animating effects to texts, buttons and movie clips. Object/Pixel Snapping and Snap Alignment are offered to align objects precisely. This Flash Maker can also export Flash movies to SWF, EXE, GIF, AVI, or Flash Lite, which enables you to apply the Flash anywhere you need.

    "Great in many respects, but.."

    Version: Sothink SWF Quicker 5.3

    Pros

    This is a very good program overall, except in using the templates. see cons.

    Cons

    I have researched many wysiwyg flash programs looking for the right program for my needs. While Sothink SWF Quick is a versatile program I found it does not allow editing of projects using the templates for text color, either before or after the template is selected. The user interface is hard to use because I could not edit the templates frame by frame.

    Summary

    Ok in many ways but not for me.
