Although it lacks extensive features and support for more exotic image formats, this conversion utility is nonetheless blissfully easy to use. Solid Converter GX's interface is basically a small window that lets you browse your PC for images. Once you've opened a folder full of shots or a single image, you can click the Convert button to choose the output format, though the application also will walk you through the conversion process step by step. However, the utility only supports the most common image formats: BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, and TIFF. In spite of this, we appreciate that you can quickly convert any image via the Windows context menu. Solid Converter GX doesn't include even basic editing features, though you can change the color depth before you convert images. However, if you're just looking for a way to transform single or multiple images and you only work with everyday file types, this program will get the job done.Publisher's description

Version: Solid Converter GX 1.1
Pros: Uninstalls cleanly.
Cons: Attempts to use this software always yielded an error code relating to some version of ActiveX (my version is up to date). Perhaps I should have plowed through the technical difficulties, but instead I simply downloaded another application that worked first time, every time.
