Version: Softros LAN Messenger 3.6.4
"easy for understanding, user friendly, fully controllable messenger"
Pros: OK, let's go...
1. ready to use on the our network rigth away we install it, no additional settings in program or network required
2. automatic deployed over our network by MSI installation and win2003 domain policies
3. easy for understanding and easy to use, we started to exchange messages and files without reading any documentations
4. now our employees will not be able to wasting time to communicate with their friends by msn messenger...Softros works only thru our local network!
5. now executive officers can control what employees talking about by saving all Softros messaging conversations on the server
6. we restrict some groups of users to send messages to anyone by build in Softros users restriction settings-- they only can receive messages from officers...
and now even if our internet connection is down, softros keep working, it does not requires internet at all
Cons: it does not work under windows 2003 terminal server --we have some roaming users who works inder TS, but developers promises to add TS support in next version of softros
