This platform-style arcade game is more a fun diversion than a serious challenge. In Snowy: The Bear's Adventures, your basic goal is to destroy different kinds of monsters by hurling snowballs at them. Once you've cleared the board of all your enemies, you move on to the next level. The trial version provides both easy and normal difficulty levels, though we didn't detect much of a difference in our tests. We enjoyed the humorous, cartoon-style graphics but found the background music distracting. Thankfully, you can turn all sounds down or off and configure the keyboard and joystick controls. In addition, you can change the screen resolution, but that's about the whole story when it comes to features. Snowy: The Bear's Adventures might entertain casual gamers, but we think younger people will enjoy it most.
