SnoopFree Privacy Shield will tell you if someone is spying on you, although the program doesn't fully uninstall nosy applications. While its interface is dull, this fast-acting program immediately alerts you when a spy module is found and gives you options to allow or disallow the uncovered application. It worked beautifully in evaluations, instantly exposing the monitoring tools we installed to test it. SnoopFree Privacy Shield revealed the names of the spy tools, their corresponding file paths, and even pinpointed which files from the spy program captured keyloggers, screenshots, and opened windows. You'll be able to instantly remove the files, blocking their logging efforts altogether, but once files are deleted it requires a system reboot to take effect. Although this application doesn't uninstall monitoring applications for you, it eliminates the need for the software's password by going after the files. Any user concerned with security and privacy should consider adding this simple, yet effective freeware program to his or her security toolkit.Publisher's description
From SnoopFree Software :Protect yourself from keyloggers and activity monitors with this FREE Windows XP product. With version 1.0.5, this product is now free. I've removed the copy protection system that was causing compatibility problems with many machines. This should improve stability a great deal.

Version: SnoopFree Privacy Shield 1.0.7
Pros: Catches the bad stuff. Every security advantage is welcome, and SnoopFree gets the job done.
Regarding the complaints. There are always going to be systems out there, where any given program might cause a problem. The users tend to blame the newly installed program, when the root cause of the problem is found elsewhere. Have installed on all my systems. No problems.

"Only good free antikeylogger out there,"
Pros: Yeh, some of my security software alerted me that it was trying to hook the keyboard or something. But given how it is supposed to works, this isn't surprising so I just ignored.
Tested it with some keyloggers , it catch them all.
Initally I had to give permissions for half a dozen programs,Ad-aware , Trillian etc, but after that it was all smooth sailing.
Snoop freeprivacy guard just sits them quietly protecting me, no fuss no muss.
Good for use on your own personal computer, but I wouldnt recommend it to be used at the workplace without permission though :)
Cons: It alerts you when a program is trying to carry out activities that all keyloggers must do. You can neteur the keylogger by denying it, but you still have to remove it yourself manually.
