Blocks illegal keyboard hook in aol (waol.exe), consequently aol not performing well.
In XP, works perfectly... catches just about every attempt to hook screen or keyboard. Simple operation and I would not be without it.
Now have Windows 7 and desperately wishing my old trusty privacy shield worked with it.
Please update and create a version for Windows 7!!! PLEASE!
Panasonic Toughbook / with XP. Computer would not start after download. Was able to start in safe mode and uninstall with Revo Uninstaller.
Not for me. Too bad I like the idea.
might be a good concept
did not work for me
may work for someone else. don't know if a wireless keyboard and mouse had anything to do with it.
Didn't use it

Why post a review when you didn't use it?
none cause i did not tr it out. read below
I tried to download, and received an alert from zone alarm's browser force field, saying it is malicious... it hides itself, and disguises itself as system files.
I didnt download, so i cant say how well it woks or not. just be careful with this..ive been using zone alarm force field for a while now, and only one case of false positive so far.

How can you rate this software as one star if you didn't even use it? The software installs exactly how it is intended and Zone Alarm alerts you exactly how it is intended.
It sounded good and I was looking forward to installing and running this software based on what I read from the editor's review and other users.
I unzipped the download and my Sophos anti-virus immediately flagged this as Sus/Dropper-A which exhibits characteristics commonly, but not exclusively, found in malware.
Maybe my anti-virus was being a bit over zealous but when I tried to run the executable file it produced an error message stating that I didn't have sufficient permissions to run this application even though I have administrators privileges for this user account. I tried right clicking an selecting the run as administrator option but that didn't work either. It could've been just a corrupted download perhaps but by that point I lost interest.
Like the idea.
I installed it while running Win XP, Avira AV, Comodo Firewall, WinPatrol and SuperAntiSpyware. I rebooted as requested by the SnoopFree install program, and Windows refused to launch completely, displaying an error message then rebooting etc.
I ran the computer in Safe Mode, picked the previous day's restore point (I have software that creates one each day) and it booted fine.
Easy to use, nothing to do really but sit back and wait for something to try to hook my keyboard. i have confidence in the program and that means a lot to me.
I appreciate the ability to go back and change my mind regarding a program later.
none so far
easy to use, immediately after downloading and scanning it found 2 keylogger programs which were stopped. much appreciated!
