CNET Editors' review
Sneakadoo claims to hide certain programs using a hot key combo, but stability issues prevented us from experiencing what it has to offer.
It features a simple interface with two tabs: one for adding applications and the other for setting hot key combos. Sneakadoo requires you to launch the application you want monitored before adding it to the list, and it doesn't support the easier method of dragging and dropping programs you want to manage. The program had more serious problems, however. Each time we tried to launch an application--regardless of whether it was on the Sneakadoo list--our IE browser window shut down. We also tried viewing the tutorial that accompanies the program, but it too caused IE to shut down. Sneakadoo didn't work with Firefox either.
This program doesn't work as promised, and we suggest users look for another way to hide application windows.
Publisher's Description
From Bilantic Software:
You are working on a spreadsheet when a friend IMs with a video. You are watching the video when you hear someone coming... You hit a hotkey... your IM and video disappear, your speakers instantly mute. Your boss walks in, sees the spreadsheet, mumbles and leaves. You hit another hotkey and poof... IM and video are back. That's the beauty of Sneakadoo.

"Very cool! I can maintain privacy in my office. A great Windows manager, too!"
Version: Sneakadoo 1.0.1.1
Pros
I can choose to monitor just the applications I want, and I can set my own hotkeys. When I'm using Media Player, instant hide also mutes my speakers. In addition to privacy, I use this application as a Windows manager. Instead of toggling between Windows, I set a hotkey to choose the application (Window) want active. It's better, faster, easier than toggling between Windows.
