Publisher's description
From Snaptune :Snaptune One records and finds individual songs in just about any audio stream. Unlike other software, Snaptune does not require that stations broadcast information about what songs are playing and when. You can pause, rewind, or fast forward live radio or skip straight to any song by name. Simply tell Snaptune which radio stations to record, pick any schedule, and it does the rest. Snaptune works with Internet radio stations, USB FM tuners or a simple line-in connection to your radio receiver. Pick a station from Snaptune's extensive list of local or Web radio stations; pick a schedule or let Snaptune record 24/7. Snaptune displays a playlist showing you what-played-when and it highlights and tags the individual songs that are playing on the radio. You can click on any song to listen to it again, learn more about it, go online to purchase a download or CD containing it, or save it to an MP3 player. English, French, German and Spanish translations.

Version: Snaptune One 1.0.61031.2
Pros: free
Cons: Is one of those programs that gives you free access to things you don't care about.
Like the "1,000s of free TV stations from all over the world" programs. I did not recognize or like one song i heard.

Pros: Easy to use, just set it up and tune to the channel you like and hey presto - a few hours later you start getting the songs split onto your hard drive.
Cons: Takes a while to get all the songs you want.

"Patience required, but worth it in the end"
Pros: This is a great program just to leave on in the background, come back to later and have a list of your favorite music tracks to listen to.
The team have been making lots of improvements over the different releases, and it just gets better and better. The song recognition improves as more people use it, so I defnitely recommend everyone to download it and give it a try.
Cons: On first install it takes some time in getting enough information to get a useful play list. You need to give it some time before the real benefits of Snaptune become apparant.

Version: Snaptune One 1.0.61031.2
"Works great, I found lots of great new music using it"
Pros: * Very good at isolating individual songs playing on the radio
* Works for NPR too, even splits our individual news stories making it easy to skip through them
* Records live sessions and unique radio mixes I can't get anywhere else
Cons: * Takes quite a while to find the first few songs, but after that it gets much faster, it found over a hundred in the first week

"There's nothing like it for finding new music"
Pros: Works with streams that StationRipper and the like can't touch. Clips songs more accurately than any product out there. Works with terrestrial broadcast stations as well as Web stations. Creates great station playlists. Provides a wealth of information about the music and the stations I've recorded.
Cons: It takes a little while for it to start finding music. Not sure why. After two days on one of the stations I like it had only found 60 songs. By the end of 2 weeks it was finding at least that many per day. After that the rate of new songs found per day kept growing.
