From TechSmith :SnagIt allows users to capture, manage, manipulate, and print images, text, and video. You can capture an entire screen, a window, or an arbitrary selection. SnagIt features support for capturing menus, the entire contents of scrolling windows, DirectX sources such as games and DVD, DOS screens, and desktop animation sequences. It also includes tools for processing image brightness, contrast, hue, sharpness, scale, color reduction, and color substitution. Additional features include a thumbnail browser, an audio-recording option, and much more.
Version 6.1.1 adds printer capture, extended window capture, and a Web thumbnail creator. It has automatic file naming, timed captures, and image processing effects. Store multiple configurations of your most common settings. Edit, view, and manage your images in the newly updated Catalog Browser.
