From Niels Bauer Games :It is a time of civil war. The corrupt Federation is ruling the worlds of the Outer Rim with an iron fist. Brave freedom fighters join in a coalition against the oppressor. Will you be able to lead your brothers to freedom, or are you flattered by the promises of the Federation and want to restore "law and order?"
This game's action ranges from fighter-to-fighter combat, to the control of huge spaceships with dozens of crew members, to attacks on entire planets. New features such as crew combat, missions, and more star systems make this game a big jump from Smugglers 1. This version has a "protected mode" which helps in the rare case that crashes occur. The file is now 2MB smaller due to a new music compression algorithm, and there are various other gameplay bug fixes.
