From SmartSync Software :SmartSync Pro is a universal tool for backing up and synchronizing your important data to your local drive; external flash, USB, or Zip drive; CD or DVD; NAS or other storage device; network volume; or even remote computer. If source data is destroyed or lost, it can easily be recovered. An intuitive wizard will help you set up what to copy and where and when to copy it. The program replicates only new and updated files, which substantially reduces synchronization time. SmartSync Pro allows you to synchronize files and folders when computers cannot be connected over a local network. Its filtering system lets you keep synchronized only the files you need. The application has a set of built-in features, such as a task scheduler, data compression, activity logging, notification, and password protection.

Version: SmartSync Pro 2.10.0.825
Pros: SmartSync Pro is so fast and easy for backing up your files that backing up suddenly becomes a pleasure rather than a chore. I back up my files once a day on my home computer using Windows XP and a CD-RW. I have been so pleased with the program that I ordered a copy for my work computer and recommended it to my friends.

"Average but very slow to copy"
Pros: The product has a lot of different options
Cons: Very slow to copy file from source to a destination (no synch). GUI is not straight forward and will require reading the help files.

Pros: It's one of the few ones that support bidirectional folder synchronizing. It has all the features that Super Flexible File Synchronizer has but with better interface
Cons: I think it needs to do a better description of the activity in the log file.

"This software ended my search for a full-featured synchronization utility"
Pros: I am a tele-commuter and have the need to synchronize files from my home office to the company office via Zip disk. This software allows me to define multiple profiles that can contain unlimited folders that can be bi-directionaly synchronized.
