For PHP and JSP Web sites Smart Spidey uses Mysql Database to store indexed data and it uses Microsoft's Access Database for ASP Websites. Smart Spidey has a very effective algorithm which indexes a Web site and creates a very competitive, fast and reliable Search Engine. Smart Spidey comes with an interactive 'Did you mean?' function, which corrects spelling or logical mistakes of the user query similar to Google. In addition to all this there are loads of functions which you can use to fine tune your search engine and make it very efficient. Smart Spidey is made in Java therefore you can use it on any operating system which supports Java Technology.
