From DeskShare :Smart Email Verifier will check every e-mail address from a given mailing list and determine if e-mails are still valid. It does three levels of checking; first it will check the e-mail syntax, next it will verify the existence of the SMTP mail server and finally e-mail box on the SMTP server. Smart Email Verifier can save time and money for businesses who send newsletters to their clients or any person that needs to maintain a clean e-mail address list. Supports all popular file formats; Excel, Text (.CSV), Word, and ODBC support, allowing to work with DBMS like MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL, MS Access.
Version 3.35 improves text import.
What's new in this version:
- Enhanced Text Import: When importing Text and CSV files, you can choose to consider the first record as field names or e-mail addresses. The import wizard also displays the first record that it will import.
- Enhanced Import Algorithm: The import algorithm examines and removes all leading and trailing invalid characters before importing them.

Cons: it crashes everytime after about 10 minutes.
Their customer support did not reply.

Version: Smart Email Verifier 3.35
"I paid for the full version BUT it doesnt work, nor did they refund me, or fix"
Pros: great in theory and it worked 'sometimes'
Cons: I have paid $60 for the full version and it does not work. Everytime I run the software it crashes after about 5-10 minutes. Their customer support did not reply nor offer to refund my money.
