From Bayden Systems :SlickRun is a floating command line utility for Windows. SlickRun gives you almost instant access to any program or website. SlickRun allows you to create command aliases (known as MagicWords), so C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe becomes MAIL. Enter a URL into SlickRun and it will launch your browser and navigate to the specified address. Run multiple programs in a few keystrokes, jot a note, look up a definition... SlickRun is the most natural way to interact with your computer.

Version: SlickRun 3.9.4
Pros: This is a useful utility, fully customizable. It is surprising how useful a command-line type utility in Windows XP can be, especially when you can add you own commands (Run a program, open a web page etc etc). The autofill and history features also means you don't have to even remember the command names, known as MagicWords.
Cons: Would like an auto-scan feature like Launchy to add everything from Start Menu.
More macros would be great as well.

Pros: after two years of use, slick run has become an indispensable part of my setup. it does exactly what it says, it's completely stable, uncluttered and most of all immensely practical! the day i get a new computer it'll be my first download.
Cons: none. really none!
