Publisher's description
From Helexis Software Development :Site Publisher is the smart FTP client for uploading your files to FTP servers! It allows you to synchronize any data between your local computer and remote FTP resource (for example: your Web site or home page). But this FTP software is not ordinary FTP client - it's really smart! It automatically detects new and updated files and uploads them. Site Publisher also can remove old or outdated files out of your remote FTP directory.
Furthermore, the user can easily change the default behavior of the program by operating four simple rules (for example: you can tune it to perform periodical ftp downloads too). The Files Preview mode helps to control all the actions and to see what files will be transferred/deleted before the actual sync will be performed.

"A real time saver. Best program I've ever downloaded."
Pros: Once configured, adds new files, updates changed files and deletes no longer needed files with one click! Fantastic!
Cons: Could have better explaination on configuration/setup, but once done works beautifully.

Pros: SitePublisher is easy to use and does exactly what you need to sync your WEB site. It is easy to set up, syncs with linux sites, and the error conditions were reasonably represented.
Cons: So far it has been easy to set up, sync with unix sites, and the error conditions were reasonably represented. What is there to not like?

"Accurate, quick, multiple threads and detailed screen."
Pros: I previously used the defunct NetLoad. That had many limitations. Upon initial use of Site Publisher, it mirrored my site's files that the previous program had much trouble with. With 32K+ file, it's accurate every time only sending the new files.
Cons: The only trick is daylight savings time. You have to do some easy trick or else it thinks it has to send all the files due to the time changes. Many be that will be fixed in an update.
Summary: Accurate to a T. I still use Front Page and my site contains many thousands of images, PDF and HTML pages. Even the company never tested their program with 32K+ individual files. I sent them a screen shot to show how accurate their product is. T... read more >>
