I can't find a single file that this works on.
It won't attempt to interpret the clipboard.
Its keyboard shortcut weakness suggests that it was by something less than best quality programmers.
I'd love to go 2 stars but it seems utterly useless. -

After running Simple OCR the characters lost all formatting and were just words in one column down the page. It was a waste of time for me - I could have retyped the document faster.

Too many errors in translations. Doesn't recognize numbers and some punctuation.
Summary
This program can't even translate pages of Times New Roman text. You could waste time making 23486238723 corrections per page, or you could just re-type the entire document, yourself, in the same amount of time.

converted my digital handwritings onto text very well . but not with the original or small size. it required some 300% zooming of my jpeg and tiff graphic files . i have not tried other softwares for their similar capabities yet..

did not yet try the scanned text to text conversion feature fully. but tested its function for handwriting recognition and it performed horribly poor.

seems i may have to buy the handwriting to text feature after 14 days. that is my sole purpose of ocr need which i intend to use .i like recommendations from others about any other handwriting recogntion softwares too.
